Been getting a lot of spam recently after an old email account was on a dump. So I wrote another thing...
So why the heck does Sweden not have any places where you can buy parts for tech? Do people not do that here? Or did I just fail at google?
Step 1: break screen on tablet
Step 2: fail finding a new screen and digitizer combo
Step 3: go to another country and buy screen in literally the first online shop
Step 4: fix it yourself for a total price of ~300 crowns, including 5 crowns to rent a heat gun.
I was never particularly into Twitter or newer social networks. This place, though, feels kinda like good old IRC geekery.
Anyway, I'm a humanities scholar currently working in Sweden, but I have a techie side that I have nowhere to put. So this is going to be its home if I don't forget I even have an account.
still not over that Toronto Star indepth article about Toronto raccoons breaking open the new "raccoon-proof" green bins
Raccoons really be ruling the Toronto streets tbh
A pretty Friday Cephalopod.
