“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies—:
God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.”

I did get some time to work on #ExpeditionSasquatch Episode 6 last night, and I'll have more time a workin' on it tonight.
It's got one of my favorite gags in it of everything we've written so far.
(Remember, new episodes on the fifteenth of every month! I'm trying to stay two months ahead at all times, so I can devote proper energy to the other things I'm a workin' on.
New episode of Expedition Sasquatch is up now at https://expeditionsasquatch.org/2019/08/15/Hikers-pt2.html
It'll show up in your RSS feeds over the next hour or two.
There's some really good stuff in this one. The editing is a little rough, but that's mostly my fault.

Plockade blåbär i skogen i lördags. Faktiskt @maswan plockade bär. Halva tiden tog jag bilder av spindlar och byggde SPIDERGUARDS™ med gamla grenar under deras nät så att vi inte av misstag förstöra deras hem
ENG: We picked blueberries in the wood on Saturday. Actually @maswan picked berries. Half the time I took pictures of spiders and built SPIDERGUARDS™ of old branches under their webs so we wouldn't accidentally destroy their homes

Sad news indeed:
"Linux Journal Ceases Publication: An Awkward Goodbye "
Or: Why we *direly* need to re-talk "Libre" vs. "Gratis" again and figure out ways to fund "libre" stuff that is not "gratis".
#2184 "Unpopular Opinions"
I wasn't a big fan of 3 or Salvation, so I'm trying to resist getting my hopes up too much for Dark Fate, but it's hard. I'm just a sucker for humans and robots traveling through time to try to drive trucks into each other, apparently.
yesterday was Herman Melville's 200th birthday so here is my favorite Herman Melville quote.
also please read "Bartleby, the Scrivener: A Story of Wall-Street" It is very good.
