I have encountered more image descriptions on Mastodon in 24 hours than I have in Twitter in a couple of years. Seriously. I'm not exaggerating.
As a blind person, this means a lot to me. If you read this and you describe your images, thank you so, so, so much on behalf of all of us. If you don't, now you know you'll be helping random Internet strangers make sense of your posts by typing in a few more words than usual.

Däckade i soffan efter jobb… Nu vet jag inte vilken dag det är

:mastodon: Mastodon tip: you can customize a column to list multiple hashtags (and block-list some of them too). It's a good way to discover all the posts gravitating around the topics you like (eg. for art, #mastoart is a popular one). That's really a feature I love here and wanted to share it to newcomers.

Någon som varit ute och plockat lite Hitta ut-kontroller i år?

Jag hade min premiär i helgen i Jönköping. Skogarna är fantastiska just nu med alla vitsippor! gustavlindqvist.se/2022/04/24/

Is it just me or is Mastodon/Fediverse a little bit too full of meta talk about the service itself and not as much actual usage?

I want to read about people's lives and ideas, not talk about why it is so much better here than on birdsite...

Pretty happy with this Lighthouse score on the blog. 100 on almost everything on most pages. Only performance that takes a dip down to ~90 on some image heavy pages.

Still far off from managing to fit into the 512k club

Is it normal for to take up to 5 minutes before it even comes to building a static website?

I'm currently hosting my static website on GitHub Pages but I'm aiming for moving it a service closer to Sweden (mainly for speed), any suggestions for a good host?

Ideally I'd want to stay away from having to manually configure a Linux server and I need to be able to hook it up to a Git repo (Currently using GitHub Actions to build on push).

Netlify looks interesting.

och ungefär där bestämde sig min kropp sig för att det är helg men det är några timmar kvar på arbetsdagen

#Python creator Guido van Rossum puts it plain and simple. Asked about what role python could play in the #web3 world, he says

„Let web3 die in a flaming ball of fire.“
